We call these energy meters a “Smart Energy Meter” because we (SSTPL) fixed our Network Interface Controller device inside the Energy meter and made these energy meters Smart. Our device is responsible for two-way communication. As our device works on the 4G Fallback 2G Option, we can read the Energy parameters anytime by sending a command to the device through the Head End Application. Smart Energy meter can be turned ON, OFF, and recharged along with Energy parameters by sending commands anytime
